We are a Task Group of the Royal Manticoran Navy, the official fan association for the excellent Honor Harrington novels by David Weber. Our current compostion of ships (chapters) is:
- HMS Musashi (BC-775, a Nike-class Battlecruiser), Southeastern Wisconsin
- HMS Gawain (DD-480, a Roland-class Destroyer), Central Wisconsin
- HMS Borzoi (DD-438, a Wolfhound-class Destroyer), Northern Wisconsin
We are part of Task Force 21, which is in turn part of Second (Gryphon) Fleet.
Our first ship, Musashi was commissioned in September 2012. Gawain was commissioned in April 2013, and Borzoi was commissioned in May 2018. Musashi is based in Milwaukee, Gawain in Madison, and Borzoi in River Falls. (You do not need to be near the ships' home base to join - we have far-flung members!) You can download the next few novels in the online copy of the CD included with the novel Mission of Honor.
Gawain has been in a number of the recent novels, including Shadow of Freedom. Information can be found here, although that particular page has not yet been fully updated with Gawain's deeds. Also, here are the specs for the Roland class.
Musashi does not directly appear in the novels, but it is a brand-new ship and is therefore sailing around in the background of the most recent books. Here are the specs for the Nike class of battlecruisers.
Borzoi also has not appeared in the books, but also is a recent class of ship, and here are the specs for the Wolfhound class of destroyers.
